Herman E. Fordyce, 35 years of age, passed away Wednesday January 13, 2010. Born on October 25, 1974 in Ravenna, Ohio, he was a lifetime resident of the Streetsboro, Mantua, Shalersville, and Stow areas. A graduate of Crestwood Schools in 1994, Mr. Fordyce was self employed as a drywall contractor. He enjoyed working on cars, fishing, NASCARS and was an avid Steelers fan. Survivors include his mother and step-father June (Randy) Kelly of Streetsboro; his father and step-mother William H. (Sandi) Fordyce, Sr. of Shalersville; his brother William H. Fordyce, Jr. of Mantua; sisters Crystal Skvarek of Bentleyville, PA., Marguerite (Charlie) Jack of West Newton, PA., Wilma (Tom) Kile of Homer, N.Y., Tina (David) Ballentine of Shalersville and Daphne (Tom) Finegan of Stow; nephews Michael, George, Danny, Tommy, Jason, Marcus, Dylan, Gage and Ian; nieces Samantha (Andy), Amanda, and Jessica; great niece Onaka; dear friend Kim Banks and her children Shannon and Danny;
step-brothers Brian Kelly of CA., Shawn Stewart of N.C. and Scott Stewart of Streetsboro; step-sisters Colleen and Robin Kelly both of Kent and several uncles, aunts and cousins. Funeral services will be Sunday January 17, 2010 at the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service in Mantua, at 3:00 P.M. with Major Edinger officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. until the time of services. Cremation will follow.
