Laddie Farkas

Laddie Farkas, 74 years of age of Streetsboro, passed away Thursday, February 11, 2010 at his residence. Born on March 21, 1935 in Cleveland, Ohio, he was the son of the late Ladislaus and Anna Farkas. A resident of Streetsboro the past 44 years, he was employed as a tow motor operator at Empire Die Casting in Macedonia, retiring after 10 years of service. Laddie enjoyed fishing and camping in his free time. He is survived by his wife Rachael (Belknap) Farkas at home; his children Laddie (Lisa) Farkas of Garrettsville, Thomas Downing of Houston TX, Terry Farkas of Newburgh Hts., Susan Rose of Kent and Andrea (Eric) Stevens of Brimfield; 6 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild; and 2 nephews Anthony LaFlame of Hudson and James LaFlame of Ravenna. Funeral services will be Monday February 15, 2010 at the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service in Mantua at 12:30 P.M., where visitation will be held from 11:00 A.M., until the time of services. Final resting place will follow at Crown Hill Cemetery in Twinsburg.
