RAVENNA-BARBERTON

Teresa A. Benton, 53 years of age, a resident of Barberton the past 15 years, passed away Wednesday November 25, 2009 at Masion Aine in Stow following a long and courageous battle with cancer.  Teresa was born in Ravenna, Ohio on January 19, 1956, the daughter of the late Richard E. and Anna Marie (Papiska) Benton.  She was a resident of Ravenna for many years, and a graduate of Ravenna High School.  A homemaker, she enjoyed singing Karaoke, camping with Gary, cooking and dancing.  Survivors include her children Eric (Rachel) Kline of Ravenna, Bill Kline of Key Largo, Florida and Rebecca Kline of Ravenna’ sisters Martha (Joe) Baker and Deana Benton both of Stow and Loretta (Bill) Simon of Ravenna and her grandchildren Mason, Aubrey, Benjamin and Jackson, and her loving longtime companion Gary Gardner of Stow.  Her family would like to extend their appreciation to those special people who the past 2 years gave support to Teresa in her most difficult time.  No calling hours.  A private family service will be held.  Arrangements are by the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service in Mantua.
